After a very well received first release on his new label, Kane Michael returns to his Lights/Out imprint with a three-track EP aptly titled, ‘002’. Where the label’s first release set the stage for the diverse sounds Kane can deliver, 002 sees a more focused blend of heavier techno with some psychedelic, progressive, and electro elements. While each track follows the forming trend of being different from their counterparts, one soon begins to recognize the unique sound Kane has been tirelessly developing, track by track. The order of the tracks in the EP create a proper flow one would feel in a club set from Kane, with Hurt Me Light You Mean It kicking things off, Ambiviolence for heads down peak time raving, and Ruin to end on a high note. Each release marks a major progression in terms of quality and sound for the evolving artist, while continuously building a stronger foundation for himself and the label.
